Initial Ideas

As you may know by now this is the part of my project where i start my process of ideas. from the stage of being given the brief to now i have loads of ideas flying around my mind and this is the time to concentrate them down and put them on paper. The following are informally written and just a reference for me to look back on when finalising me final concept.
Idea one- I feel good.
All my projects are extremely personal to me and i don't want to make any exceptions this time around. These past few weeks we had a lecture well more discussion on what type of photographers we are . At the time i thought why do i need to categorise myself already ? I'm 21 in my third year at university and hopefully have a long photography career to go. Why so early do i have to settle especially in photography where there are so many different genres and experiments to be done. Then i realised what linked my work unintentionally my work is feel good , I have a bubbly personality and one of those glass is defiantly half full type of people so why cant i base my video around that concept. Media of all forms has become entwined within everybody everyday life and with that comes video media . Why cant i create a short video that transports the viewer for that short period of there day to a smile. I would like to create a feel good short video guaranteed to make the viewer smile giving across the 'Its not all doom and gloom and work no play' type of concepts. But is this to immature a concept to base this piece on and will i be able to find any critical theory to research and make the piece worth more than face value.

Idea two - 'Add on' Army
I have recently been on a staff 'girls night out' . We went out for pizza , wine, more wine then headed to Lancaster's finest clubs! The majority of girls that i have worked with are newly 18 and i had noticed a different dress sense among them and my out of work friends. I noticed they all had fake tan , extra eye lashes and similar make up styles / Dress sense. One going into the questionable clubs after the wine i realised that i was actually one of few women without these add-ons. But i don't go out completely natural i still have a pre going out grooming routine consisting of make up , hair styling and some very big Bridget Jones pants . That i now realise that 90 percent of women also wear (phew !) But some women are taking these grooming routines to the extreme and are coming out looking more like somebody else than themselves. I also noticed that they are all starting to look to same. I'm not saying that these addons or grooming processes are wrong because to a less extravagant degree. I think the point I'm trying to illuminate is i would like to base my video concept around poking fun on how women present themselves when going into a club environment.I want also explore whether females are doing this to please the male species or is it to fit in with other women???

Idea three- Shoes
My third idea was to take the theme of 'point of veiw' literally. we see the world at a certain height (in my case a less than impressive 5"5)but what would the world look like from a lower point of view. As weird as this may sound i have formally done a number of projects themed around shoes, how the shoes we wear can portray our personality's . but that's not the point ,id like to film from the ground as if the day in the life of a pair of shoes. I just think the different prospective of everyday activities could be visually pleasing .
